Objectives


The principal objective of this WP is to monitor transmission losses through the river bed during flood events in order to estimate rates of groundwater recharge. In order to achieve this the status and behaviour of the surface and subsurface hydrological system will be monitored during flood events.
 

Newly developed technology will be used that enables monitoring of the deep vadose zone.
